Some OEM shocks can be made to preform rather well. In order to improve the performance of OEM shocks, GP Suspension offers 40mm, and 46mm 6061 T6 and Hard Anodized for wear proprietary shock pistons. These pistons are installed at the shop to order, to ensure that the valving meets your individual requirements.
These shock pistons have been rigorously tested and developed by AMA teams and privateer riders at the national and club level, and are now in widespread use in race and street bikes.
Shocks can be sent to GP Suspension so that we can complete the work and meet our own exacting installation standards.
